This week, we proudly shine the spotlight on Brother James Johnson, a man known for his faithfulness, quiet strength, and commitment to doing everything with excellence.
A steady presence in both ministry and service, Brother Johnson leads with humility and heart. As President of the Male Usher Board and President of the Men’s Ministry, he sets the tone for what it means to serve with purpose. He is also a dedicated part of the Food Pantry Ministry, helping to meet the needs of our community with compassion and consistency.
When it comes to ushering, Brother Johnson never hesitates to step in—especially during funerals or special services. His willingness to serve wherever he’s needed reflects his deep commitment to the body of Christ. Whether standing at the door or working behind the scenes, his goal is always the same: to do his best and honor God in all things.
Those who know Brother Johnson often describe him simply as “good people.” He’s dependable, encouraging, and always a pleasure to work alongside—someone you can count on to show up and follow through.
Outside the church, Brother Johnson enjoys the things that bring him joy and keep him grounded—spending time with family and cheering on his favorite sports teams. His love for people and passion for life are evident in everything he does.
His favorite scripture, Psalm 23, reminds us of the source of his peace and strength:
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want...”
Brother James Johnson, thank you for being a servant leader, a dependable brother, and a living reflection of faith in action. Your dedication lifts this church, and we are grateful.
