Empowering Communities Through Faith and Development
At First Genesis Baptist Church, we embrace the transformative potential of Black churches as community developers, a movement gaining momentum across the nation. As highlighted in the NewsBreak article, "To Rebuild City Neighborhoods, More Black Churches Are Becoming Developers," churches are stepping beyond traditional roles to address critical housing and economic challenges in underserved areas. Inspired by this vision, we are committed to leveraging our resources and partnerships to revitalize neighborhoods, support local businesses, and create opportunities that uplift lives—demonstrating the profound impact faith-driven initiatives can have on building stronger, more resilient communities.
