“Lord, You’ve been so good to me, so good… and I just want to thank You.”

There are some women whose lives become a testimony long before they ever speak a word. Through faithfulness, consistency, and unwavering commitment to God, they leave an imprint on every life they touch. Today, we honor one such woman — a cherished elder whose presence continues to strengthen our church family and community.
As the eldest mother of the church, Mother Lois Brown represents wisdom, perseverance, and steadfast faith. She faithfully serves as a member of the Senior Usher Board, Mother Board, and Missionary Board, carrying out every responsibility with dedication and grace.
Known for being steadfast and reliable, she stands firm in what she says and does. She speaks her mind with honesty, walks with conviction, and remains committed to all that God has called her to do — both in her personal life and within the church.
Her heart for service extends far beyond Sunday mornings. She is an active participant in daily early morning prayer, consistently seeking God and covering others in prayer and encouragement. She also takes great pride in supporting and uplifting the younger ushers, serving as both an example and an encourager to the next generation.
Her love for people is evident in everything she does. Whether visiting the sick, checking on others, serving as a community liaison where she resides, or simply lending a helping hand, she gives freely and wholeheartedly. Many describe her as a woman with a heart of gold — always ready to support, comfort, and serve others without hesitation
.
Her life reflects what faithful service truly looks like: not seeking recognition, but consistently showing up with love, compassion, and dedication year after year.
Today, we celebrate a woman whose faith has stood the test of time, whose service has impacted countless lives, and whose example continues to inspire generations behind her.
Thank you for your steadfast spirit.
Thank you for your wisdom and encouragement.
Thank you for your faithful service to God, the church, and the community.
Faith. Steadfastness. Service.
