At First Genesis Baptist Church, we are blessed with leaders whose passion for ministry goes far beyond the walls of the church. Today, we proudly spotlight Reverend Diane Johnson, a devoted servant whose heart for outreach, education, and hospitality continues to bless both our local and global communities.
Rev. Johnson serves faithfully as the Advisor of the Greeters Ministry, where her warm spirit and genuine love for people make every visitor feel welcomed and seen. As President of the Greeters, she has transformed the ministry into more than a friendly hello—it’s a true connection point for building community and sharing God’s love.
Her passion for community outreach is evident in her work through FGBCI’s food distribution and clothing ministries, where she ensures that essential needs are met with dignity and compassion. Her commitment to service has even reached international levels, with outreach efforts extending as far as Romania, Europe—a powerful reflection of her global heart for missions.
In addition to her outreach, Rev. Johnson is a dedicated educator, teaching Christian education across generations—from young children to adults. Her ability to engage and inspire learners of all ages is a gift that continues to strengthen the spiritual foundation of our church family.
She lives and leads by her favorite scripture: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." – Philippians 4:13This verse fuels her tireless work and unwavering faith in the transformative power of Christ.
We are grateful for Reverend Diane Johnson’s extraordinary dedication, her heart for teaching, and her commitment to serving others both near and far.
