“Let it be real, real, real… anything you do, doing for Jesus, let it be real.”

There are some people whose presence speaks before they ever say a word. Angela Lee is one of those people. A true servant leader with heart, she embodies what it means to be the salt of the earth—steady, genuine, and grounded in faith.
Angela lives by a simple but powerful mantra: “Let it be real.” And she does exactly that. Her life reflects integrity, dedication, perseverance, and persistence—not just in words, but in consistent action. She shows up, she serves, and she does it with sincerity that leaves a lasting impact.
Known as a friend of friends, Angela is always seeking the good of others. Whether offering encouragement, stepping in to help, or simply being present, she creates space for people to feel seen, supported, and valued.
Her service within the church is both broad and deeply meaningful. Angela is a longstanding member of the Ensemble, using her voice to uplift and inspire through worship. She faithfully serves as the Children’s Church Coordinator, nurturing the spiritual growth of the next generation, and as the Youth Usherboard Coordinator, helping guide and mentor young leaders.
Her commitment continues through her work in the Women’s Ministry, where she pours into the lives of women with wisdom and care, and as a Women’s Day Co-Chair, helping bring vision and excellence to one of the church’s most meaningful celebrations. She also contributes her time and talents to the Culinary Committee during Vacation Bible School, ensuring that even behind the scenes, every detail reflects love and service.
And when there is a need, Angela doesn’t hesitate—she has served on multiple committees, stepping in wherever she is called, always with a willing heart.
Beyond the church walls, Angela’s impact extends into the community through her involvement with Roc the Peace (RTP)—a movement for hope, healing, and change in Rochester. Through RTP, she helps mentor and uplift youth, supports families impacted by violence, and contributes to creating spaces for unity through education, advocacy, and community-centered events like the annual Peace Festival.
Angela Lee reminds us that true service isn’t about recognition—it’s about authenticity, consistency, and love in action. She doesn’t just serve—she serves real.
Today, we honor a woman whose life reflects genuine faith, whose service strengthens both church and community, and whose spirit inspires all who encounter her.
Thank you, Angela Lee, for being real.
Thank you for your heart.
Thank you for your unwavering commitment to serving others.
Faith. Service. Authenticity.

Blessed to be a blessing!
